Hearing Loss Association of Albuquerque
The Hearing Loss Association of Albuquerque was formed in 1987 and named Self Help for Hard of Hearing People, Albuquerque Chapter. With a membership of nearly 200 and a mailing list of nearly 1,000 in the greater Albuquerque area, it provide education, support and advocacy for all with hearing loss, their families and friends in the Albuquerque vicinty. Potential Sites for Additional Chapters

Santa Fe, Farmington and Roswell are cities with a population base that is more than sufficient to support a Hearing Loss Association Chapter.  Click on this link to view samples of the programs that have been offered members of the Albuquerque chapter in recent ears.

Loop New Mexico
Loop New Mexico is an initiative of the Hearing Loss Association of Albuquerque to inform the business community, churches, schools, governmental agencies, the Hard of Hearing community and the general public about  induction loop technology which, used in conjunction with the telecoils in hearing aids, dramatically improves communication in

Hearing Loss Association of Las Cruces
Formally titled Hearing Loss Association of America - Las Cruces chapter, this group organized in 2009 and serves the hard of hearing in Southern New Mexico.  The chapter meets on the third Saturday of the month from September thru June at the Mundon Senior Center on Las Cruces.  The chapter currently does not have a web site but meeting information is Las Cruces is included in the state HLAA newsletters posted at the Albuquerque chapter site.  The chapter president can be contacted via email at:  hlalascruces@yahoo.com
